SCYC OPERATIONS:

To Our Valued Customers: We have been closely following the developments of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and monitoring information and guidance from relevant authorities. We recognize our unique place within the Exuma Cays and the fact that we have numerous stakeholders both on and around Staniel Cay. Although we love nothing more than bringing people together, especially during times when we need each other the most, we feel we have a responsibility to do everything we can to mitigate the spread of this virus.

RESTAURANT/BAR:

UPDATE #1: 3/23/2020: In keeping with recent Government directives regarding social gatherings and social distancing, we have made the difficult decision to completely close access to our public spaces, including the bar and restaurant, to all persons (including hotel and marina guests), effective immediately. This access will be strictly enforced and subject to the Emergency Powers Orders issued by the Prime Minister.

However, for all patrons, we will still have takeout food and beverage available.

To facilitate this service, the South window of our Captain’s Lounge will be converted to a “walkup” take-out window (open 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. daily). We are able to serve food, beverages, and spirits (with food only). Please click here for our menus: Breakfast, Lunch, DinnerThe schedule for take-out meals is as follows (subject to change based on product availability)

Lunch: 12 noon – 7:30pm

Dinner: (pre-order by 5:00pm) available for pick up at 7:00pm

For our current hotel guests, we will also offer “room service” orders to be delivered to your cottage, which you may enjoy anywhere on SCYC property (excluding the Clubhouse).

HOTEL:

UPDATE #1: 3/23/2020: Due to Government directives and the 24-hour curfew, all registered hotel guests must remain on SCYC property. The hotel is technically still open, and you may enjoy the pool area, marina deck (with appropriate social distancing), and your bungalow.

MARINA:

UPDATE #1: 3/23/2020: Our marina is currently open and fully operational with dockage and services. Marina guests must also observe the 24-hour curfew rules. Take-out food and beverage are available for you to take back to your boat or enjoy on SCYC property, excluding the Clubhouse. See above under Restaurant/Bar for hours and links to menus.

UPDATE #2: 3/25/2020: In response to numerous questions regarding our marina status, SCYC has confirmed that our marina can remain open to vessels in the area. Keep in mind that a vessel is being considered as a “place of domicile” for those on board. All normal land curfew restrictions apply.  Boaters can leave the boat daily (and move around Staniel Cay) for a 90 minute period of exercise. Other than that, leaving the boat should be only for getting food (take-out or at the grocery stores), seeking medical attention, visiting the laundry mat, or the airport if you at catching a flight out.

Fuel Dock is open daily from 8-5. Electric, Ice, water, bait, trash disposal, take-out food and drink are also available for boaters at the marina and in the area.
