	The Making of the 2006 Southern Boating Swimsuit Calendar at SCYC The calendar was shot in December. SCYC was proud to provide accommodations for the film crew and models. The Bahamas Sunfish Nationals

For the second year in a row, SCYC sponsored the Staniel Cay Bottom Fishing Tournament. An outstanding community event, the tournament is also a homecoming of sorts for many Staniel Cay locals who have moved to Nassau or elsewhere. This year's tournament was blessed with outstanding weather, enthusiastic competition, and great social events (the DJs at the newly re-opened Happy People Bar played into the wee hours on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights).
